Grovecrest Dance Festival

The dance festival was May 27, 2008 at Grovecrest Elementary. The kindergartner's were the first to dance. They did the Chicken Dance. It was so cute. Kelbee was concentrating so hard so she wouldn't make a mistake, that she forgot to smile. But she made up for it afterward!

The Run 4 Ryan was on Memorial Day. We had an awesome turnout. It was so great to see everyone show their love and support for Katie and her sweet girls. Kelbee ran the mile with Todd and they finished in record time!!. Raimee needed to stay with me as she was still waking up, because it was so early. The girls were champs!! It was cold and raining most of the time but they always had smiles on their little chubby faces!!

Sand Dunes

We went to the Little Sahara Sand Dunes on Saturday May 24, 2008. It was a lot of fun. I have never seen anything like it before. It is about an hour and a half away from home, and as you turn the corner you see this little city of RV's at the bottom of sand mountain. As you get closer the hum of motors is all you can really hear. The girls had so much fun. Kelbee was out all day either on a 4-wheeler or the Prowler. Raimee liked it too, but she wanted to stay close to me. It was a really fun day in the sun-and wind!!!!

Our 1st Day of Summer!!!!!

We went over to Aimee Cox's house and let all the kids play in their water toys and huge backyard. It is the perfect yard for kids! Me and the two little girls were out for a girls day out, because Todd was studying, when Katie called and invited us over. It was so much fun to soak up the sun and let the kids run out their energy!

My Sweet Sweet Roo

Ok so Kelbee got a checkbook from Brie to "play" with. She thought that it was for real, but I didn't know that. I thought she was just playing around too. Well she wrote out a check to Jeff and Missy for our flights this summer and for some tu-tus. Then she wrote me this check so that I "could get a car or something that I wanted". I said "oh Roo you are so sweet, thank you so much" and hung it up as one of my most prized posessions. Last night at the bow party she started picking out what she wanted and got out her checkbook to pay for it. Which is when I realized that she thought that it was for real. I had to take her into the other room and tell her that it was just for play. She started bawling and said "that means that all of the other checks I wrote aren't real are they?" She was crushed. She thought that she had helped me and Todd out financially. Writing this is making me cry. I love her so much and hope she always knows that. Could I ask for a sweeter child?

4 Wheeling

We went to Josh and Aimee Carter's cabin for the day on Saturday. It was so much fun!! We just hung out, ate, relaxed and rode 4-wheelers. The kids played in the dirt all day and the BIG BOYS played with the fire! It was a perfect day!!

An Afternoon At Hogle Zoo

It was so much fun to watch the girls watch the animals. I think one of the funniest parts was that Raimee was convinced that they were all going to eat her-which made it a lot of fun when the Leopard kept pacing back and forth right in front of her with just the glass between them!!

Ryan's Funeral at the Graveside

This was truly the hardest experience of my life. I have never hurt the way I have with the passing of Ryan. I will miss him so much - but whenever I think about Katie and losing the love of her life I start to cry because she won't be able to smell his neck, have his hand on the small of her back, hand a baby off when you have had it and all of the other everyday things I take for granted. I hope she knows how much I love her and that I would do anything for her!!! They had the girls send off balloons to Ryan. Asha kept looking into the hole and worrying about them dropping and hurting Ryan. She wondered if she should fill in the hole so he wouldn't get hurt. I am so thankful to have the knowledge that I do, for the innocence of children and that I can live with my sweet bug and muchkins forever!!!!!

Easter Pictures

We got their pictures taken and I always dread it. As we were leaving Todd said "Have fun" which definatley gave me a good laugh. The girls were good for about the first three minutes and then Raimee decided the lady needed to work on her patience or something. They turned out cute though and as always they are well worth the stress!!!!!!

Brylee's 1st swim

Our family at the Lehi Legacy Center. We went for family home evening and the girls absolutley loved it. Brylee got so cold so, she only swam for about an hour, and then her and I warmed up while we waited for Todd, Kelbee and Raimee.
