Memory Pillow

About three months ago I got a memory pillow with the arches to help support your neck while you sleep. Well today we were sitting on my bed and Kelbee said "mom, does your pillow help you remember things." I just looked at her kind of perplexed and then I realized why she said that. I said "oh, you mean because it's a memory pillow?" Todd was on the other side of her and just got the biggest, cutest smile on his face. Kids defiantly do say the darnedest things!

We had a "Down on the Farm" party for Brylee's 1st birthday. All of the kids decorated a wood cow with little puffy pom-poms and then they caught Cowboy Todd with their water balloon weapons. He almost got away with the cake, but lucky for us, they had good arms so he couldn't escape! I can't believe that a year has passed already. It is such a bitter sweet thing. I love every stage that they go through, but I hate to see them grow up so fast!!

We went to Chuck-e-Cheeses on Brylee's birthday. Todd had to work that day so I didn't want to have her party without him. It was pretty low-key, which was really nice. Katie, Jenny and the kids all came. Along with my dad, mom, Jeff, Missy, Taylor, and Cindy. The girls earned enough tickets to get Hannah Montana over-the-head microphones and little hair clippies. I was thrilled!!!

Girls Night Out

Me, Brie, My Mom, Missy and Tonya. We went to Los Hermanos to do our favorite things. That is something that we started about four years ago (with the idea from our friends the Marchbanks) We all do our favorite thing from the last year for each other, whether it's a craft, food, shoes, etc. It's a lot of fun and we try to keep it a secret as to what we are doing. This year it was extra fun because we had all 7 grandkids with us!!

Me, Tonya, Brie, Brylee and Abbi. This was about a mile from the finish line and seemed like a fabulous excuse to stop and have a rest. My mom and sister Brie had been training to run 5K's and somehow talked me and Tonya into it. It was such a pretty morning. I think the highlight of the race was when we passed the first mile marker and it had only taken us 16 minutes. When we got to the finish line we found out that the fastest person had finished in 15 minutes and a few seconds. I knew I was going to get a trophy forsure!!

Brylee never falls asleep unless she is nursing. Well today I thought I would just jump in the shower and let her play in her walker for a minute. When I got out I could hear her fussing a little so I hurried and got dressed. When I came out I found her like this. I had to take a picture. If you look close you can see that she is still whimpering just a little!!!
