Our 911 Call

No, my girls didn't call. It was me. The girls and I were in the kitchen eating and dancing when the CO2 monitor went off. I didn't even know that we had one. I called the fire department and they said that I needed to get my girls bundled up and go outside until they were able to see what was the problem. We had a police car, ambulance and firetruck here. The girls thought that it was pretty fun. They got to take a tour of the firetruck. They did end up finding some CO2, so I didn't feel like such an idiot.

The Gateway

About a month ago, Todd had a day off, so we went to the Gateway. He got shoes for his birthday and shocking enough he wanted to change them!! (Anyone that knows Todd knows that he has to change everything) We shopped at Dick's for what seemed like an eternity. I even lost Brylee. I turned away from her for 10 seconds to tell Todd he needed to hurry and I turned back around and she was gone. They did a code Adam, I started balling and then Todd found her in their warehouse climbing the fun yellow ladder. We went in played in the water afterward. Kelbee got soaked. She thought it was so funny until was started walking back to the car and she was freezing. She ended up riding home in just her underwear with mine and Todd's coats around her.

The 10 Virgins

Katie and Me

Me and my lamp

The 10 virgins + the narrator. What a wonderful experience this was for me. I feel very blessed to have been apart of it. I know that Heavenly Father had to have had a hand in it for them to ask me to dance!! The ward that we live in is amazing. These women all glow with the spirit. When I first got the script I didn't read all the way through it before practice. I just assumed that I was a wise one. I mean, people always play opposite of themselves. When I got to practice and we were going through it and I saw that I was a foolish one I was sad. I really don't think that I could have asked for anything better for my life though. I feel like I try hard to do what is right and blah, blah, blah. But doing this helped me realize how important all the everyday little things are. I realized that I need to put my scripture reading and temple attendance ahead of doing other things. I have started to actually search the scriptures and ponder them instead of just getting through the next chapter. Not having a lot in monetary things is sometimes really hard for me. But through this, and the past few months I have tried to find joy in the things that I have instead of always wanting more.

Random Things

I have never done a tag-but for Katie I would do anything!!
1- I love to have my feet sticking out of my blanket with the rest of my body nice and warm when I'm going to sleep.
2- I can't stand the sound of people chewing
3- The older I get the more ticklish I get
4- I would rather step over toys/messes than pick them up
5- I wear flip flops year round
6- I love to get dressed up and go out on a romantic date with my cute hubby!!

I tag my sista's: Tonya, Missy, and Bweeskies

Sisters Night

Brylee after swimming

All we are missing are Tonya and her kids

Me and my munchkins

She is so freakin cute

So here is the story behind this picture-Missy had made No-No bars while I was packing up the stuff to go to the hotel, so I was upstairs and didn't hear any of this. Kelbee took a bite of one and said "Holy S H I T" yes she spellled it out. Well, since I'm a mom I know everything. We started to talk about it at the hotel and I said did you really say that and she answered yes. I said do you know what that means? To which she replied no. I said sound it out for me...this is the picture that Missy took right as she figured out what word it was. We were all lauging so hard. Raimee freaks out if anyone laughs at someone so it captured her in all her glory too!! After we went swimming we headed back to the room and got the girls all bathed. The night ended with Raimee throwing up everywhere so Raimee, Brylee and I all went home and slept-it was only 5 minutes away. Kelbee got to stay and enjoy the rest of the night out!!
