8 Years!!

What a ride we have been on. But I couldn't think of anyone I would rather be on it with. I love my sisters and my friends but no one in this world compares to my Sweet Bug. He has taught me so many things...a lot of which is to let go of things because they don't really matter. We have so much fun together and it's interesting to see how when I think I finally have him figured out he goes and switches things up on me. I love so many little things about him...like his great love for ice cream and his never ending patience and yes some things still get on my nerves like when he brings chips to bed and licks them. But I must say that I have the way better end of the deal...He has to put up with me!:) We went to St. George for our anniversary and left the girls at home with Todd's mom and dad. It was the first time that I have ever left them like that but boy was it worth it!! It was so fun to talk and not be interuppted, to spoon at night and not have anyone try to climb in between us and when we were out to eat not having to get up in the middle of our meal to take someone potty. I was so excited to sleep in but when 7:00 rolled around and I had fallen asleep at midnight I was good to go. I can't remember when the last time was that I got seven hours of sleep let alone uninterrupted sleep! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful man to enjoy this journey with.
